I am the organizer of a Couples' Canasta Group in Naples, Florida during the winter months . Every Monday night about 10 tables of happy couples play canasta, munch on goodies, and meet new friends. Men love this challenging game and most are playing canasta with the guys during the week instead of gin rummy or poker. What fun! I have taught many couples in Toronto; hope this pastime spreads there like wildfire.
