I finally wrote the much needed book....".Canasta 101 - Modern American Canasta". It's a complete guide on how to play the game, its rules, and great strategies on winning! Initially it was only available to my private students, but through word of mouth, I was receiving so many requests for a copy that I decided to make it available to everyone. COUPLES CANASTA

I am the organizer of a Couples' Canasta Group in Naples, Florida during the winter months . Every Monday night about 10 tables of happy couples play canasta, munch on goodies, and meet new friends. Men love this challenging game and most are playing canasta with the guys during the week instead of gin rummy or poker. What fun! I have taught many couples in Toronto; hope this pastime spreads there like wildfire.

Canasta 2019

100 more students learned CANASTA WITH DOREY this season. Great fun! I'm off for the winter and will resume classes in April 2019 again, until October 2019.
